The song was produced by Drake himself, 40, Bnyx, Noel Cadastre, and Dalton Tennant, and the five wrote it alongside SZA and with Chris Powell and Grant Lapointe. It contains uncredited samples from "Just Ask Me" by the Soul Superbs.
