Giveon has kicked off his latest era by appearing on Teddy Swims's single "Are You Even Real" which was released on January 10, 2025. He then released this single "Twenties" on February 7th, 2025 as his latest solo project.
At an exclusive fan listening event in Berlin in July 2025, Tyla first unveiled two songs, "Dynamite" and "Chanel", originally intended for inclusion on her second extended play (EP), WWP. The EP was released on 25 July 2025, but did not include "Chanel". During an interview with Variety in August 2025, Tyla said "We Wanna Party is meant to be a bridge to the album".
