In recent months fans were waiting for the return of Lil Tjay. There was a good reason: in June 2022, he got involved in a shooting with another gang, he was shot seven times, and he spent days in the hospital, fighting for life. He already checked in with his fans with a Youtube video, and a few days later, he managed to publish his new song, Beat the Odds, sharing his feelings about what happened.
